Is there Internet access?
Wireless access is available throughout Camp and in all lodging units; the main lodge also has a small business center with several computers and internet access. The guest rooms do not have Ethernet cables.
Do cell phones work?
Cell coverage is spotty due to the mountain topography. While you should not expect cell service, you may receive texts or voicemail. Phone cards are sold at the office for $10; there are also three landline phones (for 1-800 numbers/calling cards) in the main lodge available for guest use.
Do you have a swimming pool?
There’s an incredible place to swim that's three miles long and a mile wide: Fallen Leaf Lake! Camp does not feature a pool.
What other recreational activities are there?
Hiking, swimming, biking, boating, water-skiing, wakeboarding and paddle boarding.
Can I bring my dog?
Sorry, pets are not allowed at Camp.
Do you have tennis racquets we can use?
Camp has a limited number of racquets that are available on a first-come, first-served basis. The racquets are functional, but probably won't be seen on any Wimbledon courts.
Are there beach chairs?
Both the boat dock and the beach host a handful of beach chairs. Some people like to bring their own camping chairs for additional seating on cabin decks or for family day at the beach.
Are there beach towels?
There are towels and linen supplied for room use. Please bring your own beach towels for beach use (several kids' groups spend a full day at the beach).
Do you have fishing gear?
Fishing gear is not available to lend or rent. The Fallen Leaf Lake marina store sells fishing permits (required for adults) and bait. If you'd like to fish, Sierra Camp staff can recommend local guides.
What does the Fountain (camp store) have?
Apparel, gifts, craft brews, wine, trail bars, ice cream, shampoo, toothbrushes and other sundries available. We also sell basic first-aid supplies. Please bring all necessary over-the-counter medications with you.
